Miri uses a simple three-level navigation — Area → Category → App — with big icons and shallow menus, so children can find what they want on their own. Here is what each of the six areas offers.
Visual Schedule (64 apps)
Morning routines, bedtime routines, getting ready for school, weekend plans… Abstract time becomes a row of picture cards the child can see. Finish a step, light up a star — the child always knows what's happening now and what comes next.
First-Then Boards (64 apps)
"First brush teeth, then story time." "First tidy up, then a snack." A two-panel board showing task and reward in order — one of the most widely used supports in ABA and TEACCH structured teaching.
AAC Communication (64 apps)
Communication boards covering needs, body sensations, emotions, and social phrases. Every icon speaks aloud with text-to-speech, helping children with limited speech be heard and understood — and easing the frustration of not being able to say it.
Social Stories (64 apps)
Going to the dentist, taking a plane, attending a birthday party, a fire drill… Each story rehearses an unfamiliar situation in first person, with simple sentences and one picture per page — turning the unknown into the familiar, ahead of time.
Feelings & Calm (64 apps)
Emotion cards, a feelings thermometer, breathe-with-the-circle exercises, 5-4-3-2-1 grounding… First recognise the feeling, then learn to live with it. Every exercise is slow-paced and endlessly repeatable.
Sensory Play
Bubble Touch: floating bubbles that pop gently with a soft sound; Color Ripples: tap the water and watch slow, calm ripples of colour spread; Light Switch Board: big friendly lights to turn on and off — a first step toward everyday life skills. No goals, endless play.
